There used to be a group on tribe.net (and the three of you who remember tribe will be amused...) called Art I Want to Fuck. It was an art history group, which was filled with hard-core art geeks, and various levels of kinksters. I was a member, of course, and spent a lot of time looking at the various art that folks would post. One piece I posted was Gaston Lachaise's Standing Woman, which was one of the formative experiences in my Arts education. It was, in fact, the first piece of art I found myself attracted to. It's weird, as I would hardly say that it represents my 'type' when it comes to physical beauty, but it's just such a sensuous piece of sculpture. I had seen it in books dating back to my youth, and in person on my first visit to NYC. It's a masterpiece of American sculpture, and a downright sexy one! It's on-view at the Met in New York.
